Its a couple days late to post, but I like to try to get at least one ride per month of the year. I have good gear for cold weather, so if the roads are clear and dry, that is my criteria, not temperature.

I've been crazy busy the past couple months, with very little time for riding. Lately, its been even worse, but finally I had a chance to get a "December" ride in. We were supposed to get a real snowstorm coming in today, so I figured, before it got here, I better get that ride in.

When I left the house it was 26F, and when I got back it was 23F. Ran a couple errands across town. Probably the amusing high point was the looks I got from a couple people in a couple stores. One was a cashier, and I know she or her husband rides...must be fair weather riders, since she kept almost freaking out.

The roads were dry, but there was a little bit of that dry blowing snow that swirls around. Absolutely no problems, but I was taking pretty easy, all the same.

We usually have more snow in January and February, so we will have to see if weather allows me to keep up my tradition.
